This Entrepreneur is 23!
Personal June 20th, 2007
Just because I’m older doesn’t mean that I always have to act like it.
I’ve decided after much contemplation that today I deserve a half day of work since it my Birthday, and that only comes around once per year. I’ve been working 10 hour days for the longest time, so It’s nice to take a step back every so often. If you’ve never done, I highly recommend it.
I’m now 23 years old and am starting to feel like an old timer as far as the internet world is concerned. Every where I turn I notice young, teenage entrepreneurs full of hope, ambition, and dollar signs in their eyes. Naive? Usually, but who says that is always a bad thing. These kids are starting out young and it’s a pleasure to watch this new generation of web gurus take shape.
22 was a great year for me. I had the opportunity to work for a fortune 500 company, rack up three more computer certifications, as well as start and sell my first internet business. This will be an even bigger year as I have created two new internet businesses, started work on my Ecommerce book, and am purchasing my first home with Danielle. I’ve also met some great business contacts, and have learned so much from them (one in particular), *cough* Danny R. *cough*, in such a short time and am very grateful for that.
I’m also very satisfied with my birthday gifts! Beyond the housewarming money, I’ve received a copy of Mortal Kombat: Armageddon for the Nintendo Wii. I can’t wait to take it out of the wrapper. I hear that it has 63 fighters and a massive amount of unlockables to keep me busy for awhile.
Anyhow, no new news or articles today. I am taking a day off :).
