If I hire someone to do SEO, what exactly are they doing?
Rotwang: If I code a site for someone, and then they hire someone else to do “SEO”, what is that person doing? I’ve never understood.

Boss hates ideas and seems to want to be mediocre.
Secoif: Every time I suggest an idea it is met with a resounding “No”…possibly followed with some kind of comment about “people don’t want that” or some other generalisation/assumption about people…and then sealed with every small flaw or possible thing that could go wrong.

GoDaddy rescues RegisterFly registrar customers.
Jtara: This is still not really a done deal. It’s a “commercial transaction” between GoDaddy and RegisterFly. We shall see if RegisterFly complies with the terms and supplies GoDaddy with the data. Presumably they will, since there’s money in it for them.

Gabby: Here’s some food for thought when searching for ecommerce niches. Perhaps these are good markets to be in, or perhaps these are the markets to avoid.

Cash81: Today is the first of June and as earlier declared by Google, it will close many MFA sites. Has any of the DP members felt the heat?
